John graduated Cum Laude from University of Miami Law School in 1984. After working as an associate attorney in Coral Gables, John formed the partnership of Hellman and Maas. In 1988, the firm opened an office in Homestead and in 1998, John commenced his own practice. John retired on June 30, 2024.
